2014-09-13-Unity Concert -311Peter Yarrow, of the legendary folk trio, Peter, Paul and Mary, is returning to Austin on Friday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. Children and children at heart are all welcome to share a joy-filled evening of fun, music, sing-a-long and the touching of hearts.

This is a benefit concert for the non-profit, What If It Really Works?, which provides video interviews facilitating global conversations with leaders in the fields of new science, new spirituality and consciousness studies.

Currently, Peter Yarrow serves on the Board of What If It Really Works? and is also Co-founder and President of Operation Respect, which created and disseminates the “Don’t Laugh at Me” (DLAM) Program. The centerpiece of the program is the song, “Don’t Laugh at Me,” sung by Peter, Paul and Mary. It has its anti-bullying curriculum in 22,000 schools worldwide. This effort of fostering the consciousness of respect is the culmination of Peter’s work, a lifetime of standing up for what is right generated through the power of his music.
