Music Together® is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners and the adults who love them. The classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical and can learn to sing in tune and keep a beat, provided that their early environment supports such learning. The program and materials are designed to support parents, grandparents, or caregivers to enhance their child's musical development. Anneliese Rosea, a Home Funeral Guide trained by Final Passages in California, will present two workshops on the forms, such as Medical Power of Attorney, used to document personal life choices so that appointed decision-makers fulfill those wishes. These gatherings provide a supportive place for continued conversation about issues that come up at the time of dramatic change in families, such as a medical emergency in which voicing preferences is not possible for the patient.

The intention of these workshops also centers on consideration for the environment and learning about affordable options that are eco-friendly, such as the ability to have a home funeral or a green burial in Texas. Even if your advance directives are already completed, attend the demonstration of how to care for the body of a loved one at home. Discover and explore the creative arts of life and the creation process. Each day offers a different art form and campers will be led by Unity teachers into the exciting adventures of creating with food, art, music, dance, movement and drama. The goal of this camp is to encourage children to find their own unique ways of expressing their God-given creativity. Kids will learn that they have the power to co-create their lives with God.

The elementary and middle school age groups will have an opportunity to go on a field trip each day during the camp to visit a different creative venue, such as a cooking school, an art museum, a professional dance company, a music recording studio, a theatre, or other similar venues.

Spiritual Education and Enrichment (SEE) provides educational opportunities for people who are seeking practical principles in order to live more joyously and successfully. SEE is devoted to helping all people bring a consciousness of the activity of God into every life situation. You may participate in taking and receiving credit from Unity Institute for up to 4 classes. This SEE week is offered twice a year in our ministry. This class is a combined study of Unity’s two most important texts on the core subject of prosperity: Charles Fillmore’s classic book, Prosperity, first published in 1936, and Eric Butterworth’s Spiritual Economics, first published in 1983. We will compare and contrast these books on the key subjects of substance, mind, faith, visualization, and a giving consciousness.

It is our expectation that through the development of such practical understanding, participants will be inspired to also become heart-centered metaphysicians. Practicing “The Silence”, as part of the prayer and meditation process, is fundamental to Unity teachings. For over 125 years “The Silence” has been observed at Silent Unity 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In Unity, we teach that it is in the stillness of your heart, that you turn to God within and know the ones with the Divine. We will be focusing on meditation techniques, practices and processes and exploring different methods to reach “The Silence”. The ultimate goal is to develop your personal practice. Also, we will study and learn the practice of non-resistance. After this class, you will be more comfortable with your personal meditation practice.

Metaphysical Bible interpretation is a skill all Unity students need to know. In this class, we will explore the New Testament from the Acts of the Apostles to The Revelation to John, first getting a gist of Bible history and then focusing on a few of the stories, discussing their historical or cultural impact, and then emphasizing their metaphysical meanings which come from within us.

In light of recent Messages on reincarnation, Carey Bracewell, a UCOH Chaplain, has stepped up to provide a six-weeks series on the connection of astrology to one’s spiritual path in this lifetime. This class is designed to allow participants to work on their own birth chart, which is a template for understanding the soul’s choice of personality characteristics.

Focusing on basics in this series, participants look for the key factors of spiritual growth. Once the participant's computer-generated chart is done, then he or she will know the spiritual path--their Nodes--that they are to follow in this lifetime for success and fulfillment. Astrologers take into account the positions of the ten planets, their angular relationships, and other factors, which will be discussed in this initial series. No special math or computer skills are needed. However, participants need to bring their exact time and place of birth, which can be found on a birth certificate or some other reliable document, in order to cast their chart by computer in class.
