This one-day LGBT-focused relationship workshop has been designed for all committed couples who wish to gain a greater understanding about what it takes to make a marriage successful. The course will include discussions by local LGBT relationship, financial and legal professionals. Whether you are legally married via another state, unsure about how legal marriage will change your relationship, or are ready to tie-the-knot in Texas, this workshop is for you! Upon completion, you will receive a certificate approved by “Twogether in Texas,” a Texas Health & Human Services Commission sponsored initiative intended to promote pre-marital education.
The certificate is good for one year, and enables you to waive the three-day waiting period, and is worth $60 toward the marriage certificate fee. Be poised for marriage the very first day it’s legal in Texas! The course material is called “The Five Love Languages” which you can find in the Bookstore.
