Rev. Bolen, an ordained Unity Minister, is a lifetime Truth student, raised in Greenwood, South Carolina. After graduating from Lander University in Greenwood, he served with the U.S. Navy and is a Vietnam War Veteran.

After a successful career in the corporate world in sales and sales management, Rev. Bolen became a teacher of metaphysics and in turn, a Unity Minister.

With his wife of 20 years, Mary Bolen, he co-founded Unity Christ Center in northeast Atlanta, Georgia in 1995. The Bolen’s completed their work there in 2006 and expanded their ministry, teaching in various Unity church settings across the country.

They are long-term members of the Advisory Council of the Association for Global New Thought. Rev. Bolen served for three years as President of the Unity Ministers of the Mid-Atlantic States. Steve and Mary have four children and five grandchildren.
