Unity Church of the Hills is a Church that love is building. Help build our church by volunteering your time and skills. We have dozens of opportunities for you to experience joy through service.

Volunteers of the Month

Our Unity Church of the Hills Volunteer of the Month for January is Courtney Poole.

Courtney has been a member for nine years, and has served on various teams bringing her unique talents and excellence to each one. She served on the Unity Oaks Design team, helped with Hands on Housing Projects, been a part of the FUN Singers Choir, and was active with the original Songwriter’s Circle.

She plays a major role with our technical support teams on Sundays and for Special Services. She was instrumental in setting up our Video Team. We have enjoyed her creativity in our Holiday Extravaganzas, especially as the choreographer for “The Prancing Papas!”  We have been inspired by her musical gifts and her beautiful smile.

When asked what she would like to share about herself and UCOH she says, “I’ve shared wonderful memories at UCOH. I was married here. My son was christened here. I owe so much to the lessons I learned and experiences I have with and through my spiritual home.  I love every inch of it!”

Parking Ushers
Team Leader John Boyden is dedicated to directing folks to a Divine parking spot. Make your smile the first everyone sees on Sunday by volunteering once a month, before either Service, with the Parking Ushers.

Hospitality Team - Come join the dedicated and gracious volunteers of this team under the leadership of Cheryl Stenson. Thanks to their efforts, we all enjoy coffee and snacks following each service on Sundays. As a Hospitality Team volunteer, you get to greet everyone, hone your coffee-making skills and get first dibs on snacks, plus you will be so appreciated by all who come into Friendship Hall. Volunteer one Sunday a month, first or second service.

Ambassador Team - The Ambassador Team is seeking a few good people to offer up a warm smile and a friendly greeting while opening the door to welcome all attending Unity Church of the Hills on Sunday morning.  Some say being an Ambassador is the easiest and most fun volunteer opportunity at the Church.  We say it’s also one of the most important because Ambassadors provide the first impression for newcomers, as well as all those who make their way to Church.
