Unity Church of the Hills is a Church that love is building. Help build our church by volunteering your time and skills. We have dozens of opportunities for you to experience joy through service.

Volunteer of the Month

Our Volunteers for the month of March began attending Unity Church of the Hills shortly after moving to Texas in 2007.
Before joining our Church, Curtis & Maura Rehfuss confess to being ‘Unitics’ since 1986.  At UCOH they have enjoyed volunteering with the F.U.N. (Fantastic Unity Noisemakers) Singers, the Newcomer Sponsor Team, and as hostess and server for the Ladies High Tea.
The depth of their commitment to service is focused on the International Outreach Team, specifically the LoveLight Project in South Africa.  “As volunteers we are grateful for the opportunity to pass on the unconditional support we experience in this Spiritual Community. Unity Church of the Hills consistently encourages a deepening awareness of the transformative power and fearless nature of love.”
Curtis & Maura Rehfuss transformed numerous lives during their service time spent in South Africa with LoveLight and transformed our Congregation with their open hearts.

Additional Help is Needed!

Hospitality Team - Come join the dedicated and gracious volunteers of this team under the leadership of Ann Serandos. Thanks to their efforts, we all enjoy coffee and snacks following each service on Sundays. As a Hospitality Team volunteer, you get to greet everyone, hone your coffee-making skills and get first dibs on snacks, plus you will be so appreciated by all who come into Friendship Hall. Volunteer one Sunday a month, first or second service.

Community Café Usher Team – Since the launch of our Community Café in support of the Service held in Friendship Hall, more and more people are discovering the pleasure of having a cup of coffee or tea while experiencing the broadcast provided by the Video Ministry. As more people flow into the Community Café we see the need to form a new Usher team to serve in a variety of tasks to create the perfect environment for this special Service. 

Parking Ushers - If you love the outdoors and if you want to be the first smile to greet everyone arriving at UCOH, then you're invited to join the Parking Ushers. You can't miss this team of enthusiastic volunteers, led by John Boyden, decked out in their orange vests waving and directing you to your divine parking space every Sunday morning. These masters in the art of traffic control enjoy spending one Sunday a month greeting and guiding the congregation.

Ambassador Team - The Ambassador Team is seeking a few good people to offer up a warm smile and a friendly greeting while opening the door to welcome all attending Unity Church of the Hills on Sunday morning.  Some say being an Ambassador is the easiest and most fun volunteer opportunity at the Church.  We say it’s also one of the most important because Ambassadors provide the first impression for newcomers, as well as all those who make their way to Church.
