Unity Church of the Hills offers two rental spaces for weddings, memorial services, etc. Our beautiful main sanctuary comfortably seats up to 500 guests. Our smaller chapel is an intimate space for smaller events of 25 or fewer guests. As a renter of our main sanctuary, you will enjoy the advanced technology that is integrated into the space such as:

• 10' x 10' backlit cinema vision video screen fed by two integrated multi-media presentation computers.

For Brides and Grooms to Be:

Congratulations on your decision to get married! Among the many details surrounding your upcoming wedding, we know that finding just the right setting at an affordable price is right at the top of the list.

Unity Church of the Hills recognizes and embraces the common Spirit within us all and offers a warm, loving and accepting environment in which to declare your lifelong commitment to one another. Couples need not be members to hold their ceremony here in our Church.

With Unity, you will enjoy a personalized ceremony in which you get to choose the music, vows, and the ring and candle ceremony that best reflects who you are as a couple.

All decorating of the sanctuary is left entirely up to you. You may bring flowers, ribbons or candles to create just the right ambiance for your special day. We provide a generous-sized private preparation and staging areas for the bridal party, including full length mirrors and electrical outlets.

The Church is typically available two hours prior to your ceremony for any decorating that needs to take place. We ask that you have someone designated to also take down the decorations following the ceremony and photo sessions.

Receptions are only offered as part of the wedding package. They are not stand alone rental options.

Receptions may be held in Friendship Hall. During good weather, the patio area is also available. Due to the lack of kitchen space, it is necessary to limit the reception to finger foods, cake, punch and coffee only. Alcoholic beverages of any type are not allowed in the Church building or on the church grounds.

Friendship Hall will be available 2 hours prior to the wedding. The reception can be up to 2 hours in length, with an additional hour allotted for clean up. The premises must be cleaned and ready to close no later than 10:00 p.m. the night of the wedding.

The wedding party may use the coffee pots, tables and chairs belonging to the Church. All other items and equipment must be supplied by the couple/family or caterer. Any damage done to the building, furniture or equipment is the responsibility of the couple/family.

In addition to no alcoholic beverages, smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Church building, and only in designated areas on the church grounds. No food or drinks are allowed in the sanctuary. Nothing is to be thrown (rice, dried flowers, flower petals, confetti, etc.) in the church building or adjoining grounds. Birdseed or bubbles may be used outside the church building.

Guest ministers are welcome to officiate.

So, What's the Next Step?

• Contact the Church to verify that the facility and/or minister is available for your wedding date and time.
  
  
• Visit the Church at your convenience to view the facility (if you are planning to hold your wedding at Unity Church of the Hills). Fill out a Wedding Services form (available at the Church Office) and mail or deliver it to the Church with your $200.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve your date and time.
  
  
• Shortly after the Church receives your deposit, you will receive a call from either the minister or a member of the Church Staff to schedule an appointment for you and your fiancé to meet with the minister to discuss your ceremony in depth. Final payment is due no later than two weeks prior to the actual day of your wedding.
