From the Boardroom Update – Sept. 26, 2020

Dear Ones,

We hope this finds you well, enjoying the cooler fall temperatures! We want to update you on several key items. First, however, we would like to express our gratitude to all who participated in Dr. Teel’s “Bridges to Breakthrough” workshop on Sept. 13th.

We have compiled the feedback, which was shared confidentially. Your authentic feedback provided so much rich insight into where we are individually and collectively as a spiritual community. Many of you identified old hurts, emotions and judgements you were willing to release—while acknowledging your heartfelt commitment to UCOH and offering prayers and affirmations for UCOH.

With the insights gained from your feedback, Dr. Teel and the Board have a clearer pulse on where we area and the way forward. Above all, the resounding theme came through that we are all ready!

If you missed the workshop with Dr. Teel, you can still take part by watching the replay here: https://www.unityhills.org/bridges-to-breakthrough/.

You will also have another opportunity to share your insights and hear more this Sunday, Sept. 27th. The Board of Trustees will be hosting a Virtual Gathering via Zoom at 1pm (You can tune in via this Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86708769204?pwd=bGZCR3hYaEIyT2xURllwMXZSanNaZz09)

During our time together, we will be discussing…

  • Current state of UCOH’s finances
  • 2021 budget and considerations the Board is exploring
  • Update on Interim Ministry
  • Update on Senior Minster Search
  • Plans for Reopening

While it is safe to say none of us imagined months ago we would still be in this place with the COVID-19 pandemic, it has certainly not been an easy time and we are all longing for some sense of “normalcy.” But, we know that with God all things are possible—and our good is here in the midst of it all. We are so grateful for each of you and the loving energy you bring to our spiritual community.

We look forward to seeing you Sunday!

Blessings,
Your Board of Trustees
