Congratulations Graduating Seniors! Congratulations to Avi Medina (daughter of staff member Anneliese Rosea) and Annie Schwanke (daughter of staff member Cathy Schwanke) for graduating from high school! Avi is graduating from McNeil High School and will be attending University of North Texas, majoring in Speech and Hearing. Annie is graduating from Round Rock High School and will be attending Texas Tech, studying to become a Nurse just like her Grandma.
Summer Angels & Parent Partners: The Youth & Family Ministry is looking for volunteers to help out during the summer months while some of our regular volunteers are gone on vacation. There are openings for angels (teachers’ helpers) during both services. Pick the age group that brings you the greatest joy and join us! Please talk to Linda Hancock in the Youth Education Office, Room 140.
Summer Spirit Camp: Our Summer Spirit Camp is FULL! We have started a waiting list. Contact Linda Hancock to put your children ages 6-10 on the waiting list. Call the Church or email lindahancock@unityhills.org or stop by the Youth Education Office, Room 140. Our Summer Spirit Camp will be held the week of June 22-26 in Friendship Hall. Camp is Monday-Friday, June 22-26 from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. in Friendship Hall
YOU Summer Legacy: This year’s South Central Regional Rally will be held Thursday-Sunday, June 11-14 at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. Early Bird registration has ended however regular registration is still available. Real-Time Parenting Meet-up: The topic focus for the first two weeks of June is “Problem Solving.” Join Language of Listening and Love & Logic facilitators and other parents during the first two Sundays of every month for a solution-oriented discussion about the challenges and successes you are having with your children! Paper Shredder Fundraiser Postponed: The YOU’s annual paper shredder fundraiser has been postponed due to Centex having a shortage of truck drivers. This event will be rescheduled as soon as a new driver is hired! Look for details soon!
