Dear Friends:

Last Sunday, I asked you to enter the week mindful of when your hand is closed “inside the coconut” – a metaphor for holding onto the things that trap us like holding onto grievances. I suggested you actually make a tight fist, reflect on the debilitating thoughts, and then open your hand and let the opening be your signal to release, to forgive, to surrender the hurt and thereby set yourself free! (If you weren’t able to be with us, you can see the lesson on our website )

This weekend, please join us for a beautiful, lyrical experience with two amazing women – Grammy Nominees Karen Taylor-Good and Stowe Shockey – two of Nashville’s finest! They “provide a unique blend of music, heart, humor and hutzpah” that will inspire, motivate and uplift us. Mary and I have known Karen, and her husband Dennis, a wonderful musician in his own right, for over 20 years. It is a great gift to have her back to UCOH with Stowe! With the presence of Celebration and our House Band, we are all in for a great ride this Sunday. Please join us!

Enfolding you in a beautiful week,

Rev. Steve
