Meet & Greet with the Board of Trustees
Sunday, January 15, 1:00 pm
On the 3rd Sunday of every month, UCOH congregants can meet, greet, and connect with our Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees guides attention to the Unity Church of the Hills Mission and Vision.
This meet and greet offers everyone the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about UCOH and provide feedback about our spiritual home. This is an opportunity for us to celebrate the many voices in our community and to encourage everyone to come together in a spirit of love, grace, and acceptance of one another.
Join us after the 11:25 am service in Friendship Hall or on the patio, whether you are new to our community or a long-time member. Stop by and give us an opportunity to get to know you!
A Course in Miracles Essentials – (in-person)
Saturday, January 14, 2023, 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
ACIM Essentials is a 4 1/2 hour in-depth introduction and overview of A Course in Miracles, presented by Jennifer Feiereisel, a long-time ACIM student and practitioner. This class is designed to cover the essential teachings of the Course over 4 1/2 hours, plus an hour lunch break. There will also be prayer/meditation, and Q&A throughout.
ACIM describes a way of living in the world but not of the world. It helps us to recognize the illusions we have about ourselves, allowing them to be forgiven and released. It gives us the tools to reclaim our true identity and see the world anew, guiding us through the seemingly endless maze and senseless complexity we often find ourselves in.
Come join Jennifer on an exciting journey into the words of ACIM. The workshop will be held on Jan. 7 on Zoom and in person on Jan.14. For the January 14 in-person class, bring your lunch (you can heat it up in the kitchen microwave) or do your own thing during the one-hour lunch break.

The Way of ACIM – The Forgiven World

Friday mornings, in person in Room 203. January 20 thru March 31 (skipping 2/10), 10:30 to 12:00
“The Way of ACIM- the Forgiven world” is a 10-week series/class offered by Jennifer Feiereisel. Picking up from where the fall series (Awakening) left off, this series is designed to continue to focus on total comprehension of the Course teachings, breaking down difficult concepts through topical and subject matter studies.
“Forgiveness removes only the untrue, lifting the shadows from the world and carrying it, safe and sure within its gentleness, to the bright world of new and clean perception. There is your purpose now. And it is there that peace awaits you.” (ACIM, T-18)
The structure of the class does not follow the linear structure of the text; instead, passages and clues are taken from all 3 parts of the Course (Text, Workbook Lessons, and Manual for Teachers) to bring about clarity and understanding. It is Jennifer’s intention to meet the consciousness of the class as it presents itself and yet take leaps and bounds as Spirit directs.
This 10-week series is offered on Thursday evenings on Zoom or Friday mornings in person. Both new and returning students are welcome. Thursday evenings, ZOOM ONLY. January 19 thru March 30 (skipping 2/9), 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm Friday mornings, in person in Room 203. January 20 thru March 31 (skipping 2/10), 10:30 to 12:00.
