Dear Friends,

In one of our recent Staff meetings, we were in a focused discussion on how a nearby classroom was in great need of order. The space had become a repository for various items and it was just plain needing some TLC. After a fair amount of animated  expression of our concern, it was suggested that we all go into the room at the end of our meeting to see what might be done.

When we entered the room, after agreeing, “Oh, yes, this definitely needs some work,” we dove in – this could go here, this needs to be moved, we can add something to this wall and that one. In a matter of minutes, the space had been transformed. We had decreed, only moments earlier, that it would become one of our most beautiful rooms, and is actually well on its way to being just that!

It proved a powerful metaphor for me of how we can almost “talk” something to pieces, but when we are willing to wade in, or dive in, or move into the midst of it with a mind to real intention, it can make all the difference.

When you “enter” your heart and release the clutter, the real beauty that is always there can be revealed. This heart coherence series is a reminder to do just that. There, we can release the needless ego and embrace and enjoy the Essence that God created –You!

In Love,

Rev. Steve
