Dear Divine Friends,
Inspired by an article by one of Unity’s contemporary authors, Rev. Robert Brumet, I will speak this Sunday on the topic of transformational or translational spirituality. The goal of the latter is to help the individual feel better and achieve what he or she desires – to bring about changes in life conditions and circumstances. Transformational spirituality focuses on letting go of an individual’s identity and present sense of reality to allow a much deeper identity and more expansive sense of reality to emerge.
Brumet observes that “to include this distinction and language in our (Unity) teaching can open the way for greater clarity and effectiveness. Please join us on Sunday morning for Two Sides of the Same Coin.
