“In a songwriting career that spans more than 5 decades, 2011 Texas Singer-Songwriter of the Year, Bob Cheevers has written well over 3,000 songs, some of which were recorded by Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings, among others. He has just released his tenth full-length album, “On Earth As It Is In Austin,” and will be performing many of those songs, along with other classics from his extensive catalogue, at UCOH’s Coffeehouse Concert series on Friday, September 12 from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Hosted by Rick Busby and sponsored by UCOH’s Sacred Elders, the Coffeehouse Concerts are offered on a Love Offering basis with proceeds benefiting UCOH’s LUT Scholarship program.
