Musical Connections – The Master’s Music Concert Series 10th Season – March 28

The Musical Connection presents a concert featuring a duo, one from Armenia and also Moldova combining love for traditional music and classical elegance. Local artist Sarkis Petrosian, a Santour maestro from Armenia, and renowned international guest pianist, Hamayag Hovanessian will perform music ranging from the 12th to 20th century. Brilliant Moldovian Violinist Valery Glava will perform classical music with outstanding pianist and composer Lee Tomboulian.

All performers were classically trained at the Russian Conservatory for Music. We hope that you will join us for an innovative and exciting performance made possible by funding from the City of Austin’s Cultural Arts Division, the Texas Commission on the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts. The City of Austin’s Cultural Arts Division, a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts, and an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, all have helped make this event possible.

 

Reimbursement policy: The full amount for a class, minus a 10% refund fee to cover the costs incurred by the Church, will be reimbursed any time prior to the class for any reason.  However, should the student attend one or more of the classes, none of the fee will be reimbursed, except in dire circumstances.
