Faculty: Kelley Glover, plus some guest speakers

Discover and explore “The Toolbox Project”— tools for spirited living and lifelong learning. Kelley Glover and Unity guest speakers will empower campers with 12 different practices for building emotional intelligence, resilience, empathy for others, self-mastery, and other positive behaviors and skills. A variety of creative approaches will be used to learn and experience the profound power of these 12 tools, including art, music, dance, movement, food, and drama.

The goal of this camp is to encourage children to find and strengthen their own inner voice. Children will learn that they have the power to manage themselves and their lives with these innate skills. Children will also learn the importance of cooperating with others while having FUN!

Campers will give a special presentation and performance summarizing what they learned in camp, during the last hour of the last day of camp. All parents, guardians and family members are invited to attend. After the performance, there will be an ice cream social celebration!

Campers will go on field trips during the afternoons of Tuesday, June 23 and Thursday, June 25. They will visit a dance school on Tuesday and a kids’ cooking school on Thursday. Parent drivers may be needed. If you are available to be a driver for one of the field trips, please contact Linda Hancock, Youth and Family Director.

* Please bring a healthy snack, brown bag lunch, and a drink every day.

* Please bring an adult sized shoebox with a lid to camp on Monday.

* Parents and family members are invited to an Ice Cream Social and

Campers’ presentation/performance on Friday, June 26 at 3:00p.m.
