Uniteen Quilt Fundraiser:

Our Uniteens class will be selling tickets for a drawing for a beautiful quilt of choice made with love by Joan Howes, Mother of UCOH. Tickets are $10 each and a maximum of 25 tickets will be sold.  There are only 3 tickets left!  The Uniteens will have a sample seasonal quilt on display in the Foyer during ticket sales on Sundays, September 20 and 27 after the Services. The drawing for the quilt will happen after ticket sales conclude on Sunday September 27. The winner does not need to be present to win, and will be contacted if not present that day.

Fall Rallies for Y.O.U. and Uniteens!

This year there will be a Fall Rally for our Uniteens as well as our Y.O.U. Both rallies will be held at the same time and same location, in different parts of the campus. The rallies will be held the weekend of October 23-25 at Camp Classen in Davis, Oklahoma. The early registration deadline is Sunday, September 27 and the cost is $150 per person. Paper Shredder Event!

Mark your calendars and start collecting your paper! The Y.O.U.’s annual paper shredder fundraiser will be held on Saturday, October 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Balcones Shred will provide a shredding truck at the front entrance near the arch so that you can drive up, park in front of the truck, and watch them shred your documents while you wait! Bring your unwanted and no longer needed papers from work, home, taxes and anywhere else. Cost is $5 per box or bag. Cash only please. All proceeds will benefit our Youth of Unity.

Elementary Angels

Thank you to everyone who responded to the call for Youth Education volunteers! We have filled almost all openings. We are still looking for two more angels to help out in the 11:25 first and second grade class. Please talk to Linda Hancock in Room 140.
