 Youth Education News

Electronic Check-In System: Today our Youth & Family Ministry is launching electronic check-ins for Sunday School. Look for the “FRED Stations” in the Foyer, in the hallway outside the Youth Education Office, and at the desk in the Unity Oaks Lobby. Staff members will be present today and next Sunday to assist families in getting checked in properly. We are excited about all the features this new system offers and we ask you to be patient while everyone gets up to speed on the new process.

 Family Celebration Services

Next Sunday is a fifth Sunday which means we will be holding our 9:30 and 11:30 Family Celebration Services in the Pavilion. Infant and toddler childcare will be available in their usual rooms; preschoolers and up are invited to stay with their families to enjoy the wonderful outdoor service featuring our youth choir. Belinda Lightheart, LUT will be our featured speaker.

Sunday, March 30 at 9:30 & 11:30 a.m. in the Pavilion

Real-Time Parenting Weekly Meet-up:

The topic focus for the month of March is “Power Struggles.” Join Language of Listening and Love & Logic facilitators and other parents for a solution-oriented discussion about the challenges and successes you are having with your children! Love Offering. Complimentary childcare is available in Room 135. Today at 10:40-11:20 a.m. in Room 205, Unity Oaks

Easter Youth Choir Rehearsal:

The choir is open to elementary through high-school ages and is being co-led by Carey Youngblood and Jon Kelly. The choir will sing in the March Family Services and the Easter Services held in the Pavilion. Today at 10:40-11:20 a.m. in Room 202, Unity Oaks

Singers Wanted!

Singers wanted to join our Youth Music Team to lead singing during a 10-minute classroom music assembly at the start of the 9:30 and 11:30 Services once a month. Love of children and ability to be engaging and entertaining are the primary qualities. Skill and talent are secondary. If you play a portable instrument (guitar, uke, keyboard, rhythm instruments) that’s fine too. The goal is to get the children to sing along and learn positive uplifting songs that can enrich their lives.
