Today’s Lessons:
Today is Family Celebration! Our celebrations are held in a sacred circle and we have our beautiful painted canvas labyrinth as part of our gathering. Bob Withrow, LUT candidate, is our featured dynamic speaker! We are also enjoying a lively Jewish folk dance and a jam session with bells, percussion and scarves for everyone! It is a fun and uplifting spiritual experience for all ages! Childcare will be provided for infants and toddlers in their regular rooms. All children ages four and up are invited to join their families in the Pavilion. Sunday, August 31 at 9:25 a.m. and 11:25 a.m.

Pool Party at Unity Wimberley! As a follow up to Minnie Rally held earlier this month, Unity of Wimberley is inviting all Uniteens and YOUers to join them for a pool party on Saturday, September 13 at 2:00-5:00 p.m. For more details, refer to the flyer posted in Unity Oaks or in the Education Wing hallway. Registration forms are available in Uniteen and YOU classrooms as well as in the Youth Education Office., Room 140.
Electronic Check-In System: Now that we are starting a new school year, we want to make sure that all children’s information on file is current. There are printouts in each of the classrooms for parents to review and make corrections. If your child’s information is not on file, YFM Registration cards are available at all the FRED stations (Unity Oaks Lobby, outside Room 129 and outside Room 140). If you are checking children into Sunday childcare, please use the FRED station by the Youth Education office.
Real-Time Parenting Weekly Meet-up: The topic focus for the month of August is “Time Management.” Join Language of Listening and Love & Logic facilitators and other parents for a solution-oriented discussion about the challenges and successes you are having with your children!
